Rock the Boat: Satan is a Keynesian

Why is the Federal Reserve pumping money into the economy while the specter of runaway inflation looms? Is “Super Stagflation” coming? Does the Texas 6th Congressional special election indicate former president Donald Trump is losing his influence?

Join Rock the Boat co-hosts Reagan Reed and Robert Coats as they explore the answers to these questions and more!

The hosts dive into the wild and whacky world of Federal Reserve policy and monetary theory. Reagan then plays devil’s advocate (since Satan is indeed a Keynesian), asking Bob how we could possibly be experiencing inflation since he was able to save $0.16 on a can of beans.

Coats and Reed then engage in rank punditry, attempting to read the tea leaves on the Texas 6th Congressional District special election runoff results. Does the defeat of Trump’s endorsed candidate bode ill for the power of the former president over the GOP?

Rock the Boat airs every Saturday at noon. The show is produced by Dr. Billy Graff and MCPLive.TV, an online TV news network founded by Bill Brenza to help inform residents of Montgomery County. In addition to Rock the Boat, MCPLive.TV airs several regular shows, including This Week in Montgomery County Politics and It’s Hammer Time.

Rock the Boat, along with MCPLive TV’s other shows, can be viewed on Facebook and YouTube, as well as the MCPLive TV website.

  1. It is always interesting to see what happens with myself or Reagan’s highly unique take on all aspects of politics.
