A few weeks ago, Rock the Boat co-hosts Reagan Reed and Robert Coats sat down with Texas Youth Summit founder Christian Collins for an interview about his recent endeavors.
The interview with Collins comes fresh after his tremendous success organizing the 2021 Texas Youth Summit, which was attended by hundreds of young conservatives across the state. Coats and Reed discuss the event with Collins, and talk about what conservatives need to do to attract the next generation.
Collins is the son of missionary parents, and is a veteran of multiple Republican campaigns. Collins was campaign manager for the Texas 8th District Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX) during the 2018 election cycle.
After that election, Collins turned his attention to organizing the Texas Youth Summit, the mission of which is to, “identify, educate, and train students to promote principles of fiscal responsibility, free market, limited government, American Exceptionalism, and the Judeo-Christian principles this country was founded upon.”
With Brady not seeking re-election to congress, Collins is widely considered to be a potential contender to replace his old boss in congress. Towards the end of the show, Coats and Reed ask Collins “The Ultimate Question”.
Rock the Boat airs every Saturday at noon. The show is produced by Dr. Billy Graff and MCPLive.TV, an online TV news network founded by Bill Brenza to help inform residents of Montgomery County.
