Retired Navy SEAL Morgan Luttrell continues to lead the pack of CD-08 candidates when it comes to endorsements from local elected officials. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable Philip Cash is the latest to endorse Luttrell’s bid to replace retiring Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX).
“I have always believed if you look at a person’s accomplishments you can get a strong indication of what they will achieve in the future,” said Cash. “Knowing the accomplishments that Morgan has made in both his Military and personal careers, I know that he will be a great representative of this district and the hardworking Congressman that we can all be proud of. Morgan has always been an advocate for our Law Enforcement Officers, a fight that I know he will continue in Washington. That’s why I am asking that you join me and my family in endorsing Morgan Luttrell for Texas’ Eighth Congressional District.”
Cash has served as the Precinct 1 constable since 2017, after he beat a crowded field to win the GOP nomination. Constable/Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 covers northern Montgomery County, including Willis, Montgomery, and the Lake Conroe area. Luttrell is a Willis native who has deep roots in northern Montgomery County.
