Residents from Conroe and surrounding areas will have an opportunity to hear about the ongoing crisis at the southern border firsthand at a border security round-table being hosted by attorney and congressional candidate Jonathan Hullihan. The event, which is open to the public, will feature a panel discussion addressing, “The Border Crisis and Reestablishing U.S. Sovereignty.”
In addition to Hullihan, who is a retired Navy JAG with extensive policy experience, the panel will feature multiple experts and stakeholders regarding border security. Panelists will include Congressman Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA), who was an early endorser of Hullian’s campaign, border county sheriffs Brad Coe and Urbino Martinez, Land Commissioner candidate Dr. Jon Spiers, Brownsville rancher Dan Miller, and Val Verde County GOP Chairman Frank Lopez. The moderator will be Texas Citizen Journal Editor Reagan Reed.
The panel discussion is scheduled for Monday, November 29, from 12:00 to 1:00. It will be held at the Honor Cafe in downtown Conroe (103 N. Thompson, Conroe, Texas, 77301).
“Our southern border is seeing illegal crossings at the highest rate in years,” reads a statement released by the Hullihan campaign. “It will take staunch conservative leadership and difficult decisions to stop the flood of illegal aliens crossing the border. As Joe Biden, ‘Border Czar’ Kamala Harris, and democrats in congress continue to ignore the issue, Jonathan Hullihan is taking the lead in working towards a solution to this growing problem.”
