Congressional candidate Christian Collins has received his second endorsement from a constable in Montgomery County in his bid to represent Texas’ 8th Congressional District. Precinct 3 Constable Ryan Gable recently announced that he will be supporting Collins in the upcoming Republican Primary.
“As long as I have known Christian, I have had the opportunity to observe him in the political environment. Christian has always placed God first, family next and then the importance of fighting for our great state. His passion to educate our youth in the importance of conservatism and freedom for America is an honor to see. He has lead efforts to the border to provide awareness, speaks out against the people wanting to harm Texas and is the founder of the Texas Youth Summit. He brings some of the most dedicated and influential people out to speak the truth about protecting our rights as Texans. These are just a few of the reasons, that make me proud and honored to give Christian my endorsement in his run for the Congress TX-8 district.”
Gable has served as the constable for southern Montgomery since he was elected in 2012. A tea party favorite, he has been re-elected overwhelmingly in every subsequent cycle.
Gable joins Precinct 2 Constable Gene DeForest of Conroe, who is also backing Collins. Both Gable and DeForest attended Collins’ “Defend the Police Rally” supporting law enforcement last year.
