| Commentary: Ben Bius My Fellow Texans, My pledge is this: I will follow the Word and the Constitution and will never compromise with Evil for the sake of political expediency. My name is Ben Bius, and I am running for state representative to serve you in the Texas legislature. I am running because Texas and our values are under attack. I will tell my grandchildren that when Texas faced this evil, I ran to the fight. There is an awakening in our country and your vote will make a powerful statement, “The heart of Texas beats bright red!” Texas and our district, the cradle of Texas history, is in no way liberal. Our area is conservative, Christian, and home to great Texans and strong families. It will be a great honor to serve and represent you. Our campaign has not engaged in slander or un-founded personal attacks. Rather, we have focused strictly on the liberal record of my opponent. The record speaks for itself. Although politics can be nasty it remains a sin to bear false witness and slander anyone. Therefore, my campaign and I have remained positive and shared what I will fight for and hope to accomplish on our behalf. Your vote carries more power today than at any time in recent history. Your vote will send a powerful message, not only to Austin, but also Washington D.C. and the world. The woke, left wing agenda will be defeated. As Texas goes, so goes the nation.
